PURPOSE: A display device for a flat panel display device is provided to decrease the number of processes, by reducing the number of pattern masks used to fabricate a lightly-doped-drain(LDD) structure or offset structure. CONSTITUTION: The first doping region of a strip type is formed along the edge of a semiconductor layer, having the first area in a predetermined position of a substrate(710). The second doping region of a strip type is formed inside the first doping region. The first insulation layer covers the semiconductor layer. An ion stopper layer is formed in a position corresponding to the inside of the second doping region of the upper surface of the first insulation layer corresponding to the semiconductor layer. A pixel electrode is formed in the first insulation layer separated from the ion stopper layer. A gate is formed on the ion stopper layer. The first signal line is connected to the gate. One side of a source electrode is connected to one of the doping regions of the semiconductor layer and the other side of the source electrode is connected to the second signal line. One side of a drain electrode is connected to the rest of the doping regions and the other side of the drain electrode is connected to the pixel electrode.
