PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-sensitive recording material which is high in color developing sensitivity, has excellent whiteness, ground color and preservability, does not fade in color even in touch with body fat, and is little in lowering of a printing capability (excellent re-printability) even being left under high temperature and high humidity. SOLUTION: In this heat-sensitive recording material, a heat-sensitive color developing layer contains at least one of sulfonamide phenol derivatives represented by formula 1 [wherein, X is hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, alkyl group, hydroxyl group, alkoxyl group or nitro group, R1 -R5 are each hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, alkyl group, cycloalkyl group, aralkyl group, aryl group, alkenyl group, alkoxyl group, cycloalkoxyl group, alkenyloxy group, nitro group or acyl group, and the R1 and R2 or R2 and R3 may form an aromatic ring] as an organic developer, furthermore contains 2-benzyloxy naphthalene. |
