PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide kitchen refuse drying device capable of shortening a drying time through improvement of drying efficiency and an availability factor. SOLUTION: The drying device 1 is partitioned into a rise space 53 for kitchen refuse situated on the central side of an inner cylinder part 20 and a lowering space 51 for refuse positioned at the outside thereof by the inner cylinder part 20 situated on the inner side of the outer cylinder part 10. Heating parts 90 are situated at the outer cylinder part 10, the inner cylinder part 20, and the inner part of a bottom part 30. The heating part 90 has between an outer cylinder inner wall 11 and a outer cylinder outer wall 12 a heat source flow part 91 on the outer cylinder side, through which steam serving as heat source fluid flows. Further, the heating part 90 is provided between an inner cylinder inner wall 21 and an inner cylinder outer wall 22 with a heat source flow part 92 on the inner cylinder side through which steam flows. Further, the heating part 90 is provided between a bottom inner wall 31 and a bottom outer wall 32 with a heat source flow part 93 through which steam flows.
