PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a snow-melting device, which displays snow-melting performance optimum to snowfall characteristics in a cold district, by which the shortening of a snow-melting time and energy conservation by power saving are attained and in which works in the case of installation are simplified. SOLUTION: The snow-melting device has a snow-melting panel 45 with a heat-generating plate 14 conducting heat generation by a heating means 13, the heat-generating plate 14 is arranged so as to cover adjacent sections constituting the peripheral section of at least the snow-melting panel and the heating means 13 can be protected by the heat-generating plate 14 even when high load is applied to the snow-melting panel 45. Since the heat-generating plates 14 are further arranged so as to cover the adjacent sections of a plurality of the snow-melting panels 45, there is no remainder of melting, and snow is melted uniformly.
