PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a body side part structure of an automobile capable of preventing the retreat of a front bulk rear wall and the deformation of a front pillar when a shock load is inputted in a bulk frame from the front and reducing manufacturing cost and a weight of the automobile. SOLUTION: This body side part structure is constituted such that an end part of a steering support beam 50 is connected to the front pillar 10 through a bracket 30 and a rear end part 22a of the bulk frame 22 extending in the longitudinal direction through the front bulk rear wall 24 is joined with a front face part 16 of the front pillar 10. The bracket 30 has a basic part 31 connected to an inside face 12 of the front pillar 10, a front end part 33 opposing to the rear end part 22a of the bulk frame 22 and formed at a front fringe of the basic part 31, and a steering support beam mounting part 35 formed in the basic part 31.
