PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly move a spindle stock 5 by a prescribed quantity without increasing an impact to the spindle stock 5 when moving the spindle stock 5 by the prescribed quantity by accelerating or decelerating the spindle stock 5 provided in a machine tool. SOLUTION: When driving the spindle stock 5 by accelerating or decelerating the spindle stock 5 of the machine tool, an acceleration almost constant area of at least the spindle stock 5 is arranged in the middle of acceleration or deceleration, and since a time between the finish time of acceleration or deceleration and the finish time of the acceleration almost constant area is set shorter than a time between the starting time of the acceleration almost constant area and the stating time of acceleration or deceleration, the spindle stock 5 can be quickly moved by the prescribed quantity without practically increasing the impact as a whole in the spindle stock 5 driven by being accelerated or decelerated. |
