BARRIER FILM, LAMINATE USING THE SAME AND MANUFACTURING METHOD OF BARRIER FILM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a barrier film having high barrier properties and transparency, being excellent in suitability for post-processing and having also the suitability for a microwave oven and to provide a laminate and a manufacturing method of the barrier film. SOLUTION: A barrier layer 3 constituted of an inorganic oxide and an organic vapor deposition film 4 are laminated in this sequence on at least one surface of a base film 2. The barrier film 1 is obtained by constituting the organic vapor deposition film out of either the mixture of an acid anhydride and a hydrolyzate thereof or the hydrolyzate of the acid anhydride, and the laminate is obtained by providing a heat-sealable resin layer 52 on at least one surface of the barrier film. The barrier film is manufactured by a method wherein a thin film of an inorganic oxide is formed on at least one surface of the base film by a physical vapor growth in a vacuum chamber, so as to form the barrier layer, and then the organic vapor deposition film is formed on the barrier layer by an evaporation, with the acid anhydride and a catalyst of 0.001-1 mol to 1 mol of the acid anhydride used as an evaporation source.
