PURPOSE:To obtain a treated textile having high quality in high productivity while preventing the formation of spots and moire patterns by treating a textile structure with ultrasonic wave in the presence of a compound capable of swelling one of the components of a fibrillating conjugate fiber constituting the textile structure, thereby fibrillating the fiber in a short time. CONSTITUTION:A textile structure formed of fibrillating conjugate fiber consisting of a combination of polyamide/polyester, etc., is fibrillated by treating the structure with ultrasonic wave in the presence of a compound (e.g. benzyl alcohol, phenylethyl alcohol, phenol, cresol, formic acid or acetic acid) capable of swelling one of the above components of the fibrillating conjugate fiber. |
