PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a cement board whereby an indentation pattern given to the cement board by a pattern form is made to be hardly affected by the spring-back due to the elasticity of the cement board itself and thus the indentation pattern conforming exactly to a design can be obtained and which is also excellent in productivity. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the cement board has a molding process wherein a curable slurry containing cement is molded, a pattern forming process wherein the indentation pattern is given by the pattern form 21 to a molded body obtained by the molding process and a curing process wherein the molded body 22 patterned by the pattern forming process is cured. In this method, an agent for accelerating the cure of the cement is applied to the molded body in the molding process and the pattern forming process and/or just after the pattern forming process.
