<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an object searching system for no-cut and no-cover tunneling method using different kinds of propagated waves that can detect obstacles which are less dependent to the depth of a constructed pipeline. SOLUTION: This object searching system searches the positions of an object in front of an excavation head and the excavation head. The system is provided with a searching wave generating means which generates at least one kind of searching wave composed of a longitudinal elastic wave, a transversal elastic wave, or both longitudinal and transversal elastic waves to the excavating front end for forming an excavated hole. This system has a constitution that receives at least either one of the elastic waves generated from the searching wave generating means and the reflected waves of the elastic waves from the object by means of a ground receiver and calculates the position of at least either one of the excavation head and object from the difference in propagating time between the longitudinal and transversal elastic waves.</p> |
