FUEL TANK PART FOR AUTOMOBILE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a fuel tank part for automobiles capable of maintaining excellent mechanical strength and toughness of a polyamide resin and excellent fuel barrier properties of PPS resin in a high balance, having excellent post processing properties such as welding to a polyethylene resin tank. SOLUTION: This fuel tank part for automobiles is characterized in that the part is a molding obtained by injection molding a resin composition composed of (a) 60-95 wt.% of a polyamide resin and (b) 40-5 wt.% of a polyphenylene sulfide resin by using a mold having the ratio of gate diameter to a flow length to a final packing part of 1:>=5, the polyamide resin forms a continuous phase and the polyphenylene sulfide resin forms a beltlike dispersed phase in a resin phase separation structure of the molding observed by an electron microscope.
