The present invention relates to a real-time test system for use in methods to analyse samples on insulin or C-peptide. Particularly, the invention makes it possible to carry out the analysis close to a site wherein the test results are needed. The present invention is especially suitable in intra-operative and diabetes related (i.e. beta-cells transplantation) applications. The invention can be used for in and ex vivo applications.
