PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for charging raw material into a blast furnace by mixing coke which is not intruded into a coke layer in a dripping zone under state forming small grain-diameter even in the case of receiving gasifying reaction, with iron ore or the like. SOLUTION: When the iron ore or the like and the coke are charged into the furnace from the furnace top of the blast furnace so as to form alternate layers, the coke having >=300 m<2> /kg specific surface area, is charged onto the iron ore or the like.
