PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a speed-up of a wet image forming apparatus by surely drying and removing excess carrier liquid remaining on a developed image formed by using liquid developer at high speed, preventing faulty transfer and the deterioration of image quality caused by the excess carrier liquid and obtaining a high-quality transferred image. SOLUTION: A high-speed air current is sprayed in the rotating direction of a photoreceptor drum 11 by a nozzle 37, and then it is made to flow to a downstream side in the rotating direction of the drum 11 in a gap G formed on a photoreceptor cover 36. An exhaust path 38a having a cross flow fan 40 is provided on the downstream side of the cover 36 and the air current passing through the gap G is guided to a recovery device 25 side. Thus, the excess carrier liquid of the developed image passing through the gap G is dried and removed at high speed. |
