PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drain pipe system equipped with an observation means for detecting a state of filth and sewage in the drain pipe from outside the drain pipe. SOLUTION: The drain pipe system is provided with the drain pipe through which the filth and sewage are conveyed, the observation means for detecting the state of the filth and the sewage in the drain pipe from outside the drain pipe so as to output a state signal, and a signal processing means for processing the state signal.
