PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-pin cylinder lock which can increase the number of variations in key shape engageable therewith, and can be positively operated. SOLUTION: A duplicate key 1 of the multi-pin cylinder lock has a rod main body 2 which has notches engageable with tumbler pins of the multi-pin cylinder lock. The multi-pin cylinder lock has a plurality of pin arrangements 17, 17 formed in a first arrangement direction along a generating line direction of an inner cylinder 5, according to a first development pattern, and the pin arrangements are developed in a second arrangement direction about a center axis of the inner cylinder 5. According to the multi-pin cylinder lock thus formed, at least one of the pin arrangements 17 is rendered angularly asymmetric with respect to the other pin arrangements in the second arrangement direction.
