<p>Raw gas e.g. heavy fuel for gas turbines, contg. particles e.g. salt, is fed axially to a centrifuge contg. a range of horizontal perforated plates fed at their underside with scrubbing liquid from radial orifices of a central blind-ended hollow hub filled with liquid. The contaminants are washed to the housing walls under centrifugal action and drawn off through a dip-tube.</p> |
