PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for wet forming of a paper sheet by which ion exchange capacity can be maintained at a high level in the method for wet forming of the paper sheet of a filter medium containing an ion exchange resin. SOLUTION: This method for the wet forming of the paper sheet of the filter medium containing the ion exchange resin comprises using white water 9 obtained during filtration treatment as a preparing liquid for a slurry stock liquid 7 in the method for the wet forming of the sheet comprising carrying out the filtration treatment of the slurry stock liquid 7 prepared by dispersing a papermaking raw material containing the ion exchange resin in water and forming the paper sheet.
