A fence system for a power tool comprising a first fixed fence (48) associated with a base (12) of said power tool, said first fixed fence being disposed on one side of a working tool (16) of said power tool and a first moveable fence (32,132) being interconnected with said first fixed fence (48). The system additionally comprises a first cam rod (104, 114) disposed between said first fixed fence (48) and said first moveable fence (32), said first cam rod being operable to clamp said first moveable fence against said first fixed fence upon rotation of said first cam rod.
