Formed products (I) made from reinforcing fibers bonded with a polypropylene-containing thermoplastic binder, in which the binder contains up to 10 (preferably 0.3-3) wt% pyrogenic silica based on the polypropylene (PP) content. An Independent claim is also included for a method for the production of (I) by forming a mixture of fibres and binder components under heat and pressure.
