Method for measuring the moisture in a number of workpieces (13), in which the workpieces are fed singly past a sensor (16) so that in a corresponding measurement cycle the moisture content is determined by a measurement system (11) that is connected to the sensor. After each measurement cycle the measurement system is balanced. Independent claims are also made for a device for measuring moisture in workpieces, a measurement system and a computer program for determining the moisture content.
