The vehicle's seat back frame (9) has a mounting (14) for the fastening of the seat back (7) on the rear wall of the driver's cab. The mounting is installed in a region inside the outer contour of the seat back frame, and the backrest cushion (10) is provided with an opening (18) to make the mounting accessible from the front. The seat back cover (11) has a part suitable for opening and closing in order to make the opening in the cushion accessible. The aforesaid may be in the form of a zip fastener. An Independent claim is included for a procedure for the installation of a seat back.
