PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accumulation device for a paper sheets sorter which enables high-speed processing by preventing the jam caused by paper sheets such as mails on the accumulation port of an accumulation device and stacking the paper sheets regularly and is space-saved and cost-reduced. SOLUTION: This accumulation device for the paper sheets sorter is provided with a distributor 41 which is composed of a plurality of branch paths by means of a plurality of conveying belts which are disposed opposite to each other on a mounting base plate 42 and distributes the paper sheets which are sent in an erect posture respectively from the plurality of branch paths to each of the accumulation ports of the front side from the position which is approximately vertical to the sending direction. On the rear surface of the mounting base plate 42, a driving belt 34 which transmits torque from a motor 30 to the plurality of conveying belts of the upper face are supported by driving pulleys 33 and idle pulleys 33 and a belt guide 38 which temporarily supports a long single belt 34 when the belt 34 is hung over the pulleys is fixed on a fixed shaft 331 of the idles pulleys 33.
