Tool changing mechanism for a machine

The tool change system, for a robot machine with automatic tool movements on a number of axes, has a loading unit at a fixed section (F) of the robot. It has the carrier (11) for a spray sputter or other tool, held in place by a pneumatic lock. It can only be released automatically and externally by a pneumatic control (13) at the tool change station (10) when the tool is to be laid.
