<p>The method involves a radiation detector arrangement (13) outside the laser beam (5). It observes an area of the safety glass (9) through which the beam passes to measure the intensity of scattered radiation emanating from it. The scattering is caused by particles adhering to the safety glass. The system compares the scattered radiation measurement value with a reference value to produce an error signal if the reference value is exceeded. AN Independent claim is also included for a laser processing system.</p> |
