PURPOSE: A chatting method is provided to enable an accessing user to chat with other accessing users and to use contents offered at a corresponding site simultaneously by using a plug-in function of a web browser. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises steps of a user accessing a web chatting server via a web browser(S110), the web chatting server checking if a plug-in is installed at the web browser of a user terminal(S120), the web chatting server enabling the user to download the plug-in if necessary(S130), the web chatting server offering a list of contents and enabling the user to select desired contents among the list(S140), the web chatting server offering a chatter name set page to the user and enabling the user to input the chatter name and to transmit the input data by pushing a confirmation button(S150), the web chatting server checking a URL access order(S160), the web chatting server checking if the user is the first among the URL accessing users(S170), the web chatting server enabling the user to participate in a previously set chatting room and to chat with other accessing users in a case that the user is not the first accessing user(S180), and the web chatting server enabling the user to set a new chatting room and to manage the set chatting room in a case that the user is the first accessing user(S190). The web chatting server offers both the information selection window and the chatting window simultaneously.
