PURPOSE: An Internet phone system using an E-mail and a service method are provided to perform a voice telephone conversation with a counselor in real time by adding a link capable of performing the voice telephone conversation to the E-mail and transmitting the E-mail through the Internet. CONSTITUTION: An Internet phone gateway(20) requests call connection to a voice transmitting and receiving device of a designated Internet phone, converts digital voice data received from an Internet network(50) into analog voice data, and transmits the analog voice data to a voice transmitting and receiving device(40). A transmission-side Internet phone(10) mounts a dedicated program capable of transmitting an E-mail including a link capable of performing a voice telephone conversation through the Internet, and includes a voice transmitting and receiving device. The transmission-side Internet phone(10) provides a connection path to the voice transmitting and receiving device(40) through a PSTN(Public Switched Telephone Network)(30). A reception-side Internet phone(60) mounts a program capable of receiving the E-mail transmitted from the transmission-side Internet phone(10) and performing the Internet voice telephone conversation with the transmission-side Internet phone(10), and includes a voice transmitting and receiving device.
