A CONSTRUCTION FOR AUTOMATICALLY MILKING ANIMALS

A construction for automatically milking animals is provided with a milking robot and a computer which is capable of being connected with a number of measuring instruments which are related to a number of functions of the construction. A monitoring program for said functions is installed in the computer, with the aid of which the computer is suitable for determining, on the basis of a comparison of data from one or more of the measuring instruments with reference data related to said functions, a diagnosis in relation to an anticipated fault in one or omor of said functions. The early determination of a diagnosis enables to warn a user and/or a service mechanic, who is then able to take in time the possibly required measures to avoid the anticipated malfunction.
