PURPOSE: A method for adjusting a brightness of a display device of a remote controller for a boiler is provided to reduce power consumption according to the display device of a remote controller without increasing the number of components. CONSTITUTION: It is judged whether a function set section(22) is not in an outing mode. When the function set section(22) is in the outing mode, a voltage of the display device(25) is controlled as a minimal set voltage lower than the standard set voltage. When the function set section(22) is not in the outing mode, it is judged whether the function set section(22) is not in a sleeping mode. When the function set section(22) is in a sleeping mode, the voltage of the display device(25) is controlled as a minimal set voltage lower than the standard set voltage. When the function set section(22) is not in a sleeping mode, the voltage of the display device(25) is controlled as a standard set voltage.
