PURPOSE: A monitoring method using a Bluetooth is provided to prevent that a missing child occurs in a complicated street and prevent the loss of belongings by adding a Bluetooth technique to a conventional cellular phone or a portable accessory, and carrying a portable device in parents or the child or attaching the portable device to the belongings. CONSTITUTION: An ID, an inquiry/response period, an alarm sound, and a communication distance by a power class setting of a slave device which communicates with a Bluetooth device of a user are set. The communication is performed with the slave device by the set inquiry/response period, and the ID is extracted from a response signal. It is judged whether the detected ID is a registered ID. If the detected ID is not a registered ID, it is judged that the corresponding device deviates from a communication range and the alarm sound is outputted.
