SYSTEM FOR BIOLOGICAL ODOR AND VOCS CONTROL USING CARTRIDGE TYPE BIOFILTER

PURPOSE: A system for biological odor and VOCs control using cartridge type biofilter is provided to save cost required to maintenance and operation. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises cartridge type microorganism media(6) for the removal of odor and VOCs; an inlet(1) set at the bottom of the microorganism media for introducing odor and VOCs; a biofilter tower(13) in which the microorganism media are set to remove odor and VOCs simultaneously; a water tank(11) formed at the bottom of the biofilter tower to which acid-alkali chemical and a cultivation medium are fed by pumps(2) from an acid-alkali chemical tank(9) and a cultivation medium tank(8) respectively; a water circulation pump(12) to circulate water embedded with chemical and nutrient medium to the microorganism media through water sprayers(3); a heater(4) set at the top of the biofilter for heating; and a fan(10) to exhaust gas to atmosphere.
