PURPOSE: A system and a method for guiding a traffic geography are provided to maximize a feeling degree of traffic geographic information and update/construct a geographic information database easily by supplying a three-dimensional user environment using a still picture and a moving picture. CONSTITUTION: A position searching server(108) stores predetermined map information and supplies the current position of a terminal, position information of a destination, and position information of a still picture and a moving picture in accordance with a position searching request from the terminal. A still picture server(110) stores still picture information and supplies still picture information corresponding to predetermined position information. A moving picture server(112) stores moving picture data and supplies moving picture information corresponding to predetermined position information. A traffic information control server(106) requests information search of a predetermined position to the position searching server(108) according to a position searching request from the terminal, and transmits corresponding map information to the terminal. The traffic information control server(106) requests still picture or moving picture information to the still picture server(110) or the moving picture server(112) according to an information request of a still picture or a moving picture from the terminal, and transmits corresponding still picture or moving picture information to the terminal.
