PURPOSE: A resistor-capacitor composite chip and a method for fabricating the same are provided to reduce a fabrication cost by forming the resistor-capacitor composite chip with a resistor paste and a conductor paste. CONSTITUTION: A green sheet(101) of desired thickness is fabricated by using a doctor blade method. A through-hole(103) is formed in both ends of the green sheet(101) by using a hole puncher. A resistant component is formed by printing a resistant paste such as RuO2 paste on the through hole(103). A resistant sheet(102) is formed by printing a conductive paste on an end portion of the green sheet(101) having the through hole(103). The first sheet(105) having a capacitor component is formed by printing an internal electrode(106) of a predetermined pattern. An internal electrode(106) is printed by using a conductive electrode paste. The second sheet(107) is formed by printing an internal electrode(108) of a predetermined pattern on the first sheet(105). A laminate(109) is formed by stacking the sheets(102,105,107) of desired number. A single laminate(111) is formed by combining a resistor and a capacitor. A resistor-capacitor composite chip is completed by forming external terminal terminations(112,113). |
