PURPOSE: A call monitoring method of telephone outputting call monitoring signal in accordance with caller is provided to easily confirm the caller by receiving call monitoring contents mapped with each caller from an ECMS(Enhanced Call Monitoring System) server and outputting an other call monitoring signal according to the caller when performing a telephone conversation. CONSTITUTION: A user sets a call monitoring signal outputted through a real telephone from caller ID including call monitoring contents transmitted from an ECMS server(S201). In case that a calling signal is inputted to a telephone(S202), a calling signal confirming unit recognizes the caller ID corresponding to the calling signal inputted from a calling information recognizing unit(S203). A control unit retrieves whether a telephone number corresponding to the recognized caller ID is stored in a database(S204). If the telephone number corresponding to the recognized caller ID is stored in the database, the control unit outputs contents(call monitoring signal) set by the user among the call monitoring contents included in the caller ID(S206).
