PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable telephone set for allowing a user to easily set the time without worrying about it, and for preventing the user from forgetting to turn on the power. SOLUTION: This portable telephone set is constituted of an input part 1, a battery 2 which is a power source, a main body 3 equipped with a sound source (sound) and a vibrator for performing data transmission and reception and display accompanying a call, a power source switch part 4 for switching ON/OFF of the supply of a power from the battery 2 to the main body 3, a timer 5 for measuring the time, and a clock 6 for managing the present time. Then, the time inputted by the input part 1 is set, based on the input of a digit key and the depression of a power source key, and the power source switch part 4 turns on the supply of power after the lapse of this set time. |
