PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical destaticization unit which can effectively use components and have high reliability and an image forming device equipped with it. SOLUTION: The optical destaticization unit 15 which is mounted on an electrophotographic image forming device and removes residual electric charges from a photosensitive drum 10 by light irradiation includes a spot light source 15a which is provided to an image forming device body and a photoconductor 15b which is mounted on a process cartridge 20 can be attached to and detached from the image forming device body and constitutes an optical path for guiding the incident light from the spot light source 15a to the photosensitive drum 10.
