PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the workability and the degree of freedom of design in the assembling work of an optical pickup unit and to the main body of the device. SOLUTION: The device is provided with a power supply side short land 35b (36b) continuing to a wiring pattern 35a (36a) to which the power supply terminal of a light emitting device 23 of the optical pickup 16 is connected, and a grounding side short land 35c (36c) positioned adjacently to the power supply side short land while continuing to a wiring pattern to which the grounding terminal of the light emitting device is connected. Further, a relaying board 36 connected to an external driving control circuit 34 and a flexible printed circuit board 35 wherein one end part 35a is connected to the optical pickup and the other end part 35b is connected to the relaying board are arranged in this device.
