PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device by which electrification is efficiently performed at low voltage while preventing the soiling and damaging or the like of the surface of a body to be electrified and the yield of ozone is reduced. SOLUTION: This copying machine 1 is provided with an electrifying device 12 to electrify a nearly cylindrical photoreceptive drum 20 on whose surface a photoreceptive layer 25 is formed by applying voltage between a nearly cylindrical electrifying roller 10 on whose surface a conductive layer 15 is formed and the photoreceptive drum 20, and the electrifying device 12 is provided with a ring-shaped magnet 30, and a very small interstice 11 is formed between the electrifying roller 10 and the photoreceptive drum 20 by magnetic force generated by the ring-shaped magnet 30.
