PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the release work of a cable pressing jig in a cable stranding device. SOLUTION: The cable stranding device comprises a cable holding guide stick 3 that is formed with a plurality of cable inserting grooves 2, and a plurality of cable pressing fixtures 4 that are installed opposed to each cable inserting groove 2. Each cable pressing fixture 4 comprises a lock position where the cable 12 that is arranged in the cable inserting groove 2 is pressed and held, and a cable clamping stick 9 of which locking is released by the pressing operation of a releasing button 11 and which is returned to the waiting position, and a driving mechanism which performs rotating operation of the cable holding guide stick 3 around the center of axis while holding each cable 12 by each cable clamping stick 9. The release button 11 is installed along the center of axis direction of the cable holding guide stick 3 and arranged on the same side and a release operating body 16 is installed along the center of axis direction of the cable holding guide stick 3 in free movement operation, and a release button operating part 16c opposing to each release button 11 is installed respectively on the release operating body 16.
