In the case of an error, an error level is specified (S609), an error notifying method based on the error level is specified (S610), and the error is notified of the specified notifying method (S611). The error that takes place is also written in a failure and request log (S612). Meanwhile, an error is decided on a network level by referring to a NOS(network operating system) (S604). In the case of an error, the processing is shifted to S609. On the other hand, an error is detected on a hardware level by referring to an OS (S606). In the case of an error, the processing is shifted to S609.
