<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device and a processing cartridge by which miniaturization, speeding-up, the enhancement of an image quality and the reduction of a cost are attained. SOLUTION: This image forming device is provided with an electrifying means having a conductive base body, an image carrier having at least an under coating layer and a photoreceptive layer provided on the conductive base body, and an elastic body consisting of a supporting body and at least a conductive layer and a resistance layer, and a roller-like contact electrifying member abutting on the surface of the image carrier so as to electrify the image carrier at specified potential. In a contact electrifying member, the length of the conductive layer and that of the resistance layer are made equal in a longitudinal direction, and the end part surface of the resistance layer is made nearly in parallel with the surface of the supporting body, and the resistance layer has the film thickness of >=300μm.</p> |
