PERFORMANCE INFORMATION RECORDING/REPRODUCING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To effectively correct the recording/reproducing error of performance information at the time of correcting the performance information recording/ reproducing error with the technique of correcting the recording/reproducing error of the performance information, i.e., event information, which is recorded on a recording medium by the performance information recording/(reproducing) device and is reproduced from this recording medium by the performance information (recording)/reproducing device. CONSTITUTION:The performance information recording device has a state information forming means 1 which shows the musical tone control state of the prescribed musical tone after formation of a change in the event information to induce a change in the prescribed musical tone and a recording means 2 which successively records the event information and the state information on the recording medium. The performance information reproducing device has a reproducing means which successively reproduces the event information and the state information after the generation of the change by this information and an event information correcting means 12 which corrects the error of the event information reproduced from the recording medium by this reproducing means 71 in accordance with the state information which is similarly reproduced.
