SOLUTION: Separators 15 are interposed one by one between a fuel electrode layer 11b of (i)th power generating cell and an oxidizing agent layer 11c of (i+1)th power generating cell, of (n+1) pieces of power generating cells 11. A porous fuel electrode current collector 14 having conductivity and ductility is interposed between a fuel electrode layer of (i)th power generating cell and (j)th separator. A fuel passage 27 for separator formed in the separator has a fuel introduction port 27c for separator and a fuel exhaust port 27d for separator. A fuel groove 15a for separator spirally extending from the separator and communicating with the fuel exhaust port for separator is formed on the surface facing the fuel electrode current collector of the separator, and part of the fuel electrode current collector is housed in the fuel groove for the separator by compressing the fuel electrode current collector by pressing the separator against fuel electrode current collector.
