PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector capable of preventing defective fitting. SOLUTION: A slider 40 is mounted in a female connector housing 20 fitting a male connector housing 30 in such a way that its move is regulated and it is positioned at an initial position, and the regulation of the move at the initial position of the slider 40 is released by complete fitting of the male connector housing 30. Consequently, a complete fitting condition can be detected based on a possibility of the move of the slider 40 to prevent defective fitting of the connector 10 even in a fitting work performed in a place where noise such as machine sound is generated and even in a fitting work inside electronic equipment and in a dark place.
