<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of a bridge which makes sound volume rich and produces the sounds of the quality as soft as in conventional case by making the vibration transmission sensitivity higher than that of the conventional bridge of the grain in a transverse direction. SOLUTION: The three-layered plywood bridge consists of the structure obtained, by laminating a thin core board aligned in the grain of a bridge material to a longitudinal direction and transversely grained boards which are slightly thicker than the same on both surfaces thereof and working this plain wood board of such three-layered plywood to the bridge shape of the corresponding stringed instrument. This structure is provided with a vibration transmission member of the transverse grain at the sole of the bridge as need.</p> |
