<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To monitor a working condition of equipment in a remote location through an electronic mail and to reduce a load of introducing, maintaining, and managing the system. SOLUTION: In an equipment information monitoring system 100, a measurement apparatus 51 and a logging device 52 are arranged in each of field facilities A and B. A commercial mail server 53 is arranged in each of providers A and B. As a monitoring terminal for the equipment, a central monitoring device 54 and a portable terminal 55 are provided. An equipment working condition of each of the field facilities A and B is detected by the measurement apparatus 51, and an electronic mail reporting the equipment working condition is produced by the logging device 52. Subsequently, the electronic mail is transmitted from the logging device 52 to the commercial mail server 53 to be stored in an electronic mail box in the commercial mail server 53. The equipment working conditions of the field facilities A and B is monitored by receiving the electronic mail in the mail box via the central monitoring device 54 or the portable terminal 55.</p> |
