PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acoustic reproduction device using a headphone which disconnects power automatically when it is not used. SOLUTION: The headphone 5 having a hook 3 to be hooked on an ear is provided with a switch which operates with the hook 3 and the opening/ closing state of which is different when hooking the headphone on the ear from the state when removing the headphone from the ear. Then, an acoustic reproduction device main body detects opening/closing of the switch to disconnect the power of the acoustic reproduction device main body when the headphone is removed from the ear.
