PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make reduction in effect on a power source environment compat ible with shortening of a rise time, to decrease a temperature rippled of a fixing heater, to protect the fixing heater or its power feeding circuit from overcurrent, and to perform energy-saving control. SOLUTION: An image forming device of which the converter PC5 for the heater and a power source control means 85 are provided with an AC main power source switch Swap, the power source control means 85 to be started by closing the switch, a power relay RA2 connected with an AC power source and switched on-off by the power source control means, a DC-DC converter PC5 for the heater to be supplied with the power via the power relay, the fixing heater 123c to be supplied with the DC power by the converter, the other DC-DC convertes PC2-PC4 started by the power source control means 85, application voltage control means DRIVE5, VSEN5, 85 to the heater, and heater energizing current control means DRIVE5, ISEN1, 85, and which is characterized in arranging a time difference to start between the converter PC5 for the heater and the other converters PC2-PC4 by the power source control means 85. |
