PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a label holder adjustable in height (simply referred to as a label holder below) capable of easily replacing a commodity display label having a different size. SOLUTION: The label holder is composed of an upper member 8 having an upper lid part 6 for holding the upper end part La of the commodity display label L and a downward back surface part 7 which is connectedly provided downward at the back surface of the upper lid part 6, and a lower member 11 having a lower lid part 9 for holding the lower end part Lb of the commodity display label L and an upward back surface part 10 which is connectedly provided upward at the back surface of the lower lid part 9. One of the downward back surface part 7 and the upward back surface part 10 comprises an outer back surface part, and the other comprises an inner back surface part which is abutted to the inner side of the outer back surface part. One of the outer back surface part and the inner back surface part is provided with a vertically extended recessed groove 16 for a guide, and the other is provided with a slide part 25 which is slidably inserted to the recessed groove 16 so as not to be removed from the sides.
