PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor driver and controller that can minimize displacement change in the radial direction of a stator even under high-speed revolutions and that can reduce motor noise. SOLUTION: Coils CL1 to CL3 of each phase of a SR motor 1 are conducted by an inverter circuit 11, which is provided with a first to third high-potential side transistor QU1 to QU3 and first to third low-potential side transistors QL1 to QL3. The coils of each phase are conducted and controlled by turning on and off each transistor. Each transistor is controlled by driving signals QU1 to QU3, QL1 to QL3 generated by an IGBT driving signal generating circuit 12b, which continues to control the converging of phase current when the conducting control is finished. The phase current converting control is performed by the generating of a driving signal by which the phase current I converges gradually by the time the conducting time T subject to the next conducting control is finished in the driving signal generating circuit 12b. |
